Schueberfouer 2015

Hello folks! 
Apologies for my absence, I have been extremely busy this past week. I moved back to the Netherlands, to Utrecht for my studies. It was such a hassle getting the apartment furnished just in time before the first day back at Uni. Anyways, the time away from the blog was good for me because now I am back with more ideas, outfits and posts for the blog that I can't wait to show you.

This outfit was shot at the Schueberfouer, a funfair that happens once a year in Luxembourg from end of August until beginning of September. A funfair full of roller coasters, a giant wheel, candy shops, food booths and bars.
This year it's the 675th edition of the Schueberfouer. You could say that this funfair has become a tradition for us.
If you live close by I suggest you head to the Schueberfouer asap as it will end on September 9th.

A week in Ibiza

Today I am finally giving you a insight into my one week vacation in Ibiza.

Before you enjoy these photos with beautiful views and beaches, I must say that Ibiza is a gorgeous island. There is so much more to it than just partying day&night. I actually took the time to visit and discover the island and it was absolutely worth it, despite the fact of having to either rent a scooter or a car. (I suggest you opt for a car as driving the scooter was really scary and dangerous.)

I highly recommend you also take a boat ride over to the next door island Formentera. The beaches are absolutely breathtaking, clear blue sea with white sand.

Unfortunately, I don't have a hotel recommendation for you as I stayed in an apartment with some friends but I do have an amazing restaurant to suggest named Sa Punta. It is located right on the beach, a gorgeous view, great entertainment and staff, and ,most importantly, the food is incredibly delicious!

Ibiza - go-to outfit

Good evening folks,
I am just came back form Ibiza, a fabulous vacation. I will tell you more about Ibiza in tomorrow's post, where you will be able to have a full report on what I was up to the past 7 days.
Ibiza has a lot of nice locations,ideal to shoot outfits and this one was my favourite! This old little house with light blue shutters right on the harbour of the city Eivissa was gorgeous and also stylish.

This is one of my Ibiza go-to outfits when having to deal with the humid air and heat: a crop top, a midi skirt and obviously my favourite gladiators. This skirt is perfect when the warm temperatures kick since it's so airy and white is always the ideal colour.
To finish off the look I wore my ,finally arrived, Dior So Real sunnies and an all black wallet on chain.
Surely one of my favourite outfits despite the use of all the dark accessories.

Beach essentials

Finally arrived at the apartment in Ibiza, it's absolutely stunning. I am actually writing this post from the balcony enjoying the fresh breeze, the gorgeous sunshine and the smell of the sea. I love this feeling of just being able to relax and to start enjoying my vacation.

Today, I have put together my beach essentials: a bikini,some stylish espadrilles, a pair of trendy sunnies, my phone for listening to some music whilst sunbathing and, not to forget, sun cream.

Stripes

Those rainy days have finally passed, the sun is out and I am starting to get into a real summer holiday mood as in only a few hours I will be flying to Ibiza. The excitement is definitely rising.

I think you noticed that I haven't blogged in a week but that's because I've been busy working and, once I got home, I had no energy left or inspiration to write. However, do stay tuned, as August will be a travel month fort me which means loads of sunshine and outfit pictures which will be on my social media such as Instagram (@arifashionthrea), Facebook (@Arifashionthread), Snapchat (arianeglov) and of course on the blog!

Today it's all about stripes. This basic piece remind me of my childhood when I regularly wore Petit Bateau clothes (I still wear dresses or tops from them now).

How do you like this striped dress? I love it, it's young and fresh with it's popping red stripes and, casual with it's straight cut. Although I am still not convinced that red is my colour.

I matched this dress with my new favourite gladiators, this seasons big "hit"  along with my suede fringe clutch, another season favourite.

Before, I wish you a nice weekend, you may have noticed that the shades of the photos have changed in comparison to the usual ones. The reason is that this afternoon I actually had some time to relax, be a huge couch potato, I decided to play around with the iPhoto editing options and thought this created a nice soft tone to the pictures. I even had the time to finally get my nails done but now it's time for the packing… I know I will be burried in a pile of clothes.
