A week in Ibiza

Today I am finally giving you a insight into my one week vacation in Ibiza.
Before you enjoy these photos with beautiful views and beaches, I must say that Ibiza is a gorgeous island. There is so much more to it than just partying day&night. I actually took the time to visit and discover the island and it was absolutely worth it, despite the fact of having to either rent a scooter or a car. (I suggest you opt for a car as driving the scooter was really scary and dangerous.)
I highly recommend you also take a boat ride over to the next door island Formentera. The beaches are absolutely breathtaking, clear blue sea with white sand.
Unfortunately, I don't have a hotel recommendation for you as I stayed in an apartment with some friends but I do have an amazing restaurant to suggest named Sa Punta. It is located right on the beach, a gorgeous view, great entertainment and staff, and ,most importantly, the food is incredibly delicious!
Most photos will have a caption indicating the name of the beach or place.
I hope you enjoy these pictures and that maybe your next destination will be Ibiza. ;)
Happy Sunday! xx

Beach essentials

Finally arrived at the apartment in Ibiza, it's absolutely stunning. I am actually writing this post from the balcony enjoying the fresh breeze, the gorgeous sunshine and the smell of the sea. I love this feeling of just being able to relax and to start enjoying my vacation.

Today, I have put together my beach essentials: a bikini, some stylish espadrilles, a pair of trendy sunnies, my phone for listening to some music whilst sunbathing and, not to forget, sun cream.

What are your beach essentials?

Ps. Make sure to follow me on my Snapchat (@arianeglov), Instagram (@arifashionthread) and on Facebook (arifashionthread) for daily updates about my vacation in Ibiza.

Inspiration: Stylish pool floats

Pool floats

With this canicular weather, I think we are all craving a dip in the pool or the sea right?
I have a couple of friends with a swimming pool in their back yard, which comes in really handy when the temperatures soar. At least I don't have to rush to the supermarket and buy an inflatable pool. Btw, I've heard supermarkets are out of stock of inflatable swimming pools…

Today, it's raining… so, I have been browsing through the net for stylish pool floats that I have been seeing all over the social media. The usual dauphin and pink mattress definitely boring! I rather have donuts, pizzas and swans to keep me company when sunbathing in the pool. I hope to find a new "pool friend" to join me on my vacation to Ibiza and take plenty on pictures. ;)
If you're also searching for these super cool and stylish new pool floats, you can shop them right below this post with just one click.
So which one will it be? The pretzel, the donut or the pizza? Guilt-free calories
Happy Monday!

Triangl "Poppy" bikini: size guide

First off, sorry if you are presented again with this bikini which is everywhere on Social Media… For those who haven't heard if the Triangl bikini brand yet, just visit their website. I promise, it will be love at first sight!

I've been thinking about getting this bikini for over a year now but whilst reading the reviews I realised many people were dissatisfied with the size recommendation or with the sizing system this brand follows. Another thing I noticed is that many people were also complaining about the fabric. But what do you expect… it's neoprene!
Irrelevant of all the comments I decided to buy my bikini.

Beforehad, I talked to someone on the website's live chat, I received pretty good recommendations regarding the size. In addition, I contacted a friend for her advice, since she already has one of the bikinis.

Once received, I "tested" the bikini, I wore it in the pool and whilst sunbathing, the fabric is definitely something to get used to! To resume, the bikini will for sure neither feel like a wetsuit nor like a soft blanket. But hey, in french we say "pour ĂȘtre belle il faut souffrir" as in to be pretty you need to suffer. Even though there is not a lot of suffering to go through here, the fabric will for sure be a little irritating in the beginning. You might get the impression that the bikini is too small but after wearing it for a couple of hours, you will notice that it fits perfectly.

The main question still remains: What about the size? In my case, I stuck to my usual size as I didn't have the problem of "both sizes would fit!". If you're hesitating between two sizes I suggest you opt for the bigger size as the neoprene fabric is not "stretchy" and you wouldn't want to risk it being too small. In general though, I've noticed that their sizes run small.
If you are wondering what size my bikini is on the photos: the top and bottom are a small.
And last: I love the packaging!

Hope this review helped you in your choice of bikini for this summer!

A little hello

Hello guys,
Sorry for not blogging since a week and for being somehow dead on Instagram, but due to a very busy schedule at University, blogging and shooting pictures became impossible. Another impediment was that at the beginning of last week we had huge storms in the Netherlands which made it impossible for me to ride my bike to Uni let alone taking pictures! For those who follow me on Insta (here) you may have seen that I was on a 2 day trip to Knokke at the weekend which I really enjoyed, it was quite relaxing and we had beautiful weather but studying for my exams was the main focus.
Anyways, now I am back (thus only partly because the next two weeks will still be a handful of work) and I can't wait to upload my next article. A little hint: Adidas Supercolor x Pharrell Williams. I will make sure to upload it on Wednesday evening!
xx
