Vichy

This light blue dress is probably my favourite summer dress. It's light, airy and girly. Vichy was associated with Brigitte Bardot in the 50s. You can see her on many posters posing in Vichy swimsuits, making her look angelic and sexy at the same time. To give the outfit a retro look I wore my black "Clubmaster" Rayban glasses. These sunnies have made a huge comeback this year! Yesterday was my last day of holidays for the summer. I am finally back home. Unfortunately now things will get serious as I have to start packing all my stuff for going to Uni in less than a week. Having to think about so many things, I'm starting to wonder which of my clothes, shoes etc. are actually worth packing. What would you recommend I pack first ?

Welcome to St. Tropez

I am currently in St. Tropez, my last holiday for this summer. I took a few pictures to show you the beautiful harbour and the lovely, little, colourful port buildings. If you have never been to St. Tropez, I suggest you go there for a vacation because it's just wonderful and it's THE place to be. Whilst walking around these past days, I saw this adorable terrace where I decided to shoot my outfit photos. I wore this midi skirt that made quite a hit this summer. I love this skirt for when it's really warm outside, it's so airy and light. If you are looking to buy one I recommend you look at Topshop as they have a large selection of midi skirts and in various colours. I matched my skirt with a white flamingo-themed T-shirt, this pattern was a little trend this summer together with the fruit and flower trend which by the way is still ongoing at the moment. I added as final accessories a gold and green stoned bracelet and my gorgeous new Miu Miu  bag and sunglasses. Where have you been on vacation this summer ? xxx

Graduation

A couple of weeks ago I went to my graduation wearing an outfit which was a little different from the typical ball gown or prom dress. I thought that I should dress in a way that combines casual - chic. Therefore I opted for a blue/white sweater and a blue/yellow tulip skirt from MSGM, styled up with a pair of pink neon Sophia Webster sandals. I felt that the combination of colours and styles matched well together. Blue as well as yellow are colour tones that you can easily be worn/combined with pink, no matter the occasion. To finish the look, I grabbed to my little and practical Rebecca Minkoff "Mini mac" bag, without having to add another colour to the look as the sandals entailed some black. So if I can give you a little "advice" on the way : even if all these ball gowns look gorgeous, do take the time to look in to a different style direction. Who knows, you might find an even better outfit and the best thing about it you will not have gone with the "typical trend" but you will have done it according to your own style and taste and that's what matters the most !

Back from Turkey

Hello World, finally I am back from all my trips, especially the latter, Turkey, which was the longest vacation up to now. Turkey was wonderful, we had great weather, the hotel was superb, the beach was perfectly lovely and the food was delicious. I stayed in Belek at the Riu Kaya Palazzo Hotel. It was nice to actually have a holiday where you can just lie by the pool or on the beach all day long and just do nothing - simply relax and  sunbathe. During my stay in Belek, I managed to take part in a few group trips such as the visit of the city of Antalya, the market and the waterfall of Menavgat and finally, I also visited a typical Turkish jewellery center. To make time drift away whilst being at the beach, I had the occasion to do some jet skying. If I am honest with you, I was really scared at first because the waves were quite strong and the jet sky was very fast but oh well after a few minutes of "getting used to it" I eventually enjoyed it. If you look at the pictures you will see all the food and landscapes as well as some decor elements of this wonderful five star hotel. Hope you enjoy it. Have a good week. Xx
